Practice Manager Residential Conveyancer – North Finchley Junior Litigator – Potters Bar Wills and Probate Practitioner – Potters Bar Join Our Team

We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager to support the Partners in the day-to-day running of our firm across our Potters Bar, Hertford and North Finchley offices.

This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of practice operations.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

  • Compliance management
  • Oversight of conveyancing portals
  • HR administration and recruitment processes
  • Facilities management across multiple office locations

Preferred (but not essential):

  • Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook
  • Experience updating or maintaining website content

Essential Skills:

  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a diverse workload
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident in collating, interpreting and presenting data
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Full clean driving licence

We are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our growing team in North Finchley.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential conveyancing within a legal practice
  • Experience of freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Lease extensions, transfers of equity, and remortgages

Essential Abilities:

  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and organisational skills

We are seeking a talented Junior Litigator (5 years PQE+) to join our expanding team.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

  • Residential possession proceedings
  • General contract disputes and claims
  • Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules across both the County Court and the High Court
  • Experience acting for both Claimants and Defendants
  • Contentious probate matters and Inheritance Act claims

Desired Knowledge and Experience:

  • Commercial and residential property matters, including leases, forfeiture, and dilapidations
  • 1954 Act claims for both landlord and tenant
  • Adverse possession cases and actions involving squatters

Essential Skills:

  • Commercially aware with excellent organisational ability
  • Confident in handling a varied and active caseload
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to work to deadlines
  • Able to manage and communicate clearly with clients
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills:

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

  • Wills
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Court of Protection deputyship and related matters
  • Trusts and tax planning
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage a busy caseload

Desired Knowledge and Experience:

  • Contested probate matters, including Inheritance Act claims and will disputes

Essential Skills:

  • Confident in handling a varied and active caseload
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
  • Comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider team

Desired Skills:

  • Keen to support the ongoing development and expansion of the department
