Maria joined the family team in 2018. Prior to this she conducted her own caseload focusing on family law with a Tottenham firm of Solicitors for some 23 years. She trained in-house in the litigation department after completing her A level studies and passing the Institute of Legal Executives Level 6 Diploma in Family Law in 2006.
It was here that her kind, sensitive, sympathetic and practical approach to difficult emotional situations often faced when a relationship breaks down made her very popular with clients.
She later re-trained as a conveyancer dealing with residential sales and purchases for a further 7 years but, having realised her passion was working in the field of family law, she now assists Antoinette in our Family Department.
Maria is friendly and approachable and often the first point of contact prospective clients will have when raising initial enquiries with us. You can be assured that if you telephone or email us your enquiry, you will be put in contact with someone who has knowledge and experience and is keen to accommodate your needs and, if necessary, arrange for you to have an urgent consultation. She will listen to your situation, treat you with kindness and respect and more importantly, as an individual.
In her spare time Maria enjoys cooking, sugar craft and cake decorating, listening to music and spending time with her family.
Do you have any questions about family and dispute resolution or landlord and tenant disputes? Contact us today for a fixed fee consultation charged at £180 an hour.
